    • For the sports club Dresdner SSV (Germany) I worked with the Adobe Scripting API in InDesign. The sports club was did spent a lot of time to position membership cards manually to prepare the digital documents to print these out. To prevent this hassle, I wrote a script with which a series of cards could be printed on eighter DIN A4 or DIN A3. The members’ names are read from an excel file and put on the cards respectively. Cutting marks are printed on to the paper sheets as well to faciliate the cutting. Furthermore, the cards position was chosen as space saving as possible to save paper, hence save costs. The result looks like Fig. 01.
